Dasi, Taoyuan - No western tourists here?

Funny this place was full of tourists from Taiwan but not a single tourist from another country. It seems that Taoyuan is very bad at promoting itself even though there a quite a lot of things to do and see there.




Dasi (Daxi) is a historical village in Taoyuan County that has Quent little souvenir shops especially in Daxi Old Street. (Old style pillow in photo)


Also they have street vendors selling food and lots of games for the kids to play.

You can visit the local park which is right next to the Danshui River.

Dasi is supposed to be a place where the wooden spinning top are made and you could see little children playing with them in the park.
