Stinky Tofu....

Stinky Tofu..loved by most Taiwanese..












There were long cues for it in Jillin Market
It has a very strong smell as it's name suggests like rotten food.
Fermented for months which is why it has a strong smell.









It was hard for me to eat because the taste (for me) was like it smelt.
but my friends couldn't get enough of it.









Stinky Tofu an experience you should try..haha

Buddha Parade

Once a year local towns like Neilei have their own Buddha parades









I think they are actually Buddha protectors almost demon looking in yellow, red & black colours









Some youths from the temple also put on a display of their martial arts in the street











The ending of this parade

had what the locals call a 'very special ending'









This means a scantily dressed girl singing on a float thats lit up like a discotheque.
